One of the biggest insecurities that could hurt your relationship is if you can’t find it in yourself to trust the person you’re with. It’ll always leave you feeling suspicious, assuming the worst, jumping to conclusions, getting extreme anxiety, feeling unease all of the time, it’s just not healthy for a relationship at all. It’s essential for a relationship to have a foundation of trust to stand upon.
Why would you want to spend your relationship doubting and not believing the person you’re with? Why would
you want to spend your relationship being afraid that the person you’re with is going to hurt you? Why would you want to spend your relationship constantly worrying and over thinking about things that might not even be happening? Does that sound enjoyable to you? Does that sound like something you want to be a part of? I wouldn’t think so. It would just be a constant struggle of having to be questioned of your loyalty and that’s not something a loyal person deserves, now, is it?
You can’t really fully love someone if you can’t trust them first because love without trust is just something that ends making you hate the person you’re with. If you have trust issues, work on them first before getting involved with someone. You’d be doing someone and yourself a huge favor.
